Now it would be really great if Ram bundled all these changes and made them available as a kit with new tags. This would allow existing trucks to upgrade legally and not have to take on new payments

Default New Cummins

Does anyone know if the current 6.7's can be modified via a programing change or is there something different in the engine design?

Two parts to it ...

1. hardware = new torque converter, new harmonic balancer, ring and pinon in the rear axle ...

2. software = new tune ...

Everything else still the same .... no changes to the frame that I can find so far. With that alone, Ram was able to do a new rating door tag .....

Hope that helps.

(made a correction ...)
