6.7L Cummins Forum

I got the E-mail from cummins a few days ago to watch the new episode of the show featuring the new model... Well I thought it was an ok show, not quite as informative as I would have liked, but It was nice to see the bottom end components of the 6.7L and the next style fuel filter ,(I wonder how hard it would be to adapt it to my 08?) I was glad to see that the diesel exhaust fluid is not used on the 2010 models (although I hear it will be on the chassis cabs,and that they have a short 2010 run with all being made in 09 as a 10, then the 2011 chassis cabs come out later on in the year?don't know for sure.?) I seen parts of the things the epa wants to do with the trucks running the diesel exhaust fluids and I didn't like it, seemed like another thing they were trying to do to control us and our $, by having a no start condition if the tank for the def is empty and locking fuel cap so if truck is running that no fuel could be added if def tank is empty , on and on....I like the def system and what it does , just not whos controling it ... but enough rant.. the show will have several more air times on speed coming up if any one is interested in seeing it. best of luck to all. steve.
