I will keep you posted. with the new upgrade do we still need to run with the engine brake on all the time? Any one know?
09 2500 6spd stk,342rears. As soon as i fire the eng i turn on the eng brake religusly. this ensures that the turb stays clean, it also aids in warming the eng up in the winter, faster heat in the cab. I beleive it opens up the egr valve the eng has a totaly different sound when ideling with the eng brake on.I talked to my wrench at the dealership about getting idel kick up with the cruise controll swith, said it was only available on 3500s said to engage eng brake for idel time to avoid turbo sooting. it works for me.

How do you go through the process of disconneccting the EGR and what benifets are there to doing it. This is the first I have heard of this.
