Hey all,
I have been looking into disconnecting my EGR valve, but do not want to eliminate it completely....yet... but am having a hard time disconnecting the wiring from it without breaking the connector, any suggestions? any suggestions about d/c'ing it? |

I disconnected my egr at the connection under the intake manifold. There is a plastic safety clip that has to be slid to one side that will allow this connector to come apart. Not sure if its the right one to d/c for you as this was part of my smarty jr install which disables the egr system. You will get a cel with this unplugged without a programmer.
