I'm the same way I want to figure out the problem before I take it back ,just so I know where I stand with whats going on... but, what realy gets me is that the dealers want to make it my problem when there is something wrong not theirs, even when I still have warranty, let alone with a new "clean exhaust system" that I couldn't get the truck with out it, but had to pay an extra grand for it as an "option" on my window sticker, they should be going above and beyond warranty on these kind of parts and I thought there was a federal law that made the manufacture cover emissions equipment for 10yr/100,000?

The dealership replaced my DPF and EGR at 84,000 miles under warranty.

thats good to know ,as I hope they figure all this out before I get that many miles on mine , I have 22,000 miles on it now and had it a little over a year, hope to keep it for a long ,long time ,I havent had many isues with my truck ,but have to wonder when it will be my turn, as many have already had more, and a lot of diferent problems, than I think should be acceptable.

With all the DPF issues I was reading about earlier this year, I decided to install a DPF-R kit in my truck with about 15K on it. When I pulled the DPF I had no problems with clogging up, but I wanted to make sure I did not get into a crazy situation. Anyway I have the OEM DPF sitting on my shelf waiting for emission test in a couple of years. Here in WA it is required.

I'm getting ready to roll past 70,000 miles here in the next couple of days and I'm running the same DPF but I'm also driving around with a CEL and need to take her in so we'll see.

Default Cummins does DPF Cleaning

Cummins now does a two state cleaning of the DPF. Level 1 is a "pulse" cleaning process, and Level 2 uses heat and compressed air to remove residual soot and ash.

I am from Ohio and CumminsBridgeway does this for $250.00 "off the truck".

A lot cheaper that the $2,000.00 +/- retail for Mopar replacement.

Default DPF Delete System

I have currently installed the DPF delete system on my 6.7 and also run the Smarty Programmer that is recommended. It eliminated all my sensors and now my exhaust brake will not work. I know that the turbo sensor that reads the back pressure needs to be reinstalled but im not sure which one it is. Can anyone help? Also any recomendations of parts that also may help with this system?
