Default Volant intake.

Just to let you guys know, I was on car-stuff.com today and ordered the Cai kit for 176 and had a code for 10% off. It was item number V31168676 if anyone is interested. They had it listed at over $500. Can't wait to put it on now.

hey guys,
I put my intake on this afternoon. now i am getting the p0102 mass airflow sensor low code. Any reason that this intake would cause that?

Strange but I'm glad it's gone. Maybe you got a little muck on the sensor that fell off or the connector wasn't seated?

Anyway, how do you like it?

So far I am liking it alot. I haven't got to do much driving since I installed it. My drive to work is only about 3 miles and on a backroad at that. Also still no fault code so that's a plus.

Back at 10,000 KMs when I gutted the intake tube and cut a 4" hole in the bottom of the air box, this code appeared. I discoed the batteries for about 20 minutes to cancel the code. When I hooked them back the code was gone and has not reappeared. Even when I switched to the S&B last spring nothing appeared. She just needed time to get used to the difference in air flow. Of course the CEL is my friend anyways, because the EGR is discoed. The truck now has almost 138,000 KMs on it.
