Default Superchips Cortex 3950

Hi really new with the Cummins 6.7 and first time on here. Has anyone used or know anything about Superchips Cortex 3950 programmer?

What year truck do you have because the ECM on the newer 09 models won't allow you use a programmer and will actually shut your truck down forcing you to have it towed to the dealership.

The Superchips Cortex 3950 is still a programmer...It works within the ECM and reprograms. As Squid said, Dodge is working hard to eliminate programmers. Some 09's can still be reprogrammed but, the first time your bring it in, Dodge will download the "Bootlegger" software and render you Cortex unless. This applies for 07 and 08 as well. Since the Cortex also works on all other Dodges, gas included, it still has market value. I recommend the Edge which does not change the internal programming...Squid can give you more info

WOW thanks I have a 09 so I guess the programmer is out... Really sounds like I better leave it alone till I get to know more about what is going to happen
