Default smarty jr help

I'm getting ready to try out A smarty Jr from a private dealer so I can finally delete my truck. What I was wondering is will it hurt my truck in any way if I put it on to test it to make sure it's not vin licked? And then return my truck back to stock until my exhaust comes in? I don't want to test it on my truck and then mes ssomething up

Here's how it works. When you hook it up and turn it on if you see #smarty# then it is VIN locked.

If it is VIN locked the only way to unlock it is to hook it up to the original truck and revert it back to stock.

Even if the truck is stock you can still install the software and run it in the stock mode with no worries.

I got it yesterday hooked it up everything worked okay. Switched my truck back to the original software. Because even though if it's on the stock smarty software isn't that still with all the emissions deleted?

Like "0- stock" is emissions deleted just with stock power and "X-stock" is the saved original program of my truck right? That's what my understanding is
