Vis'-A'-Vis I know that you installed your probe after the turbo how does your temps relate to the ones I'm am getting? My son in law put his probe after the turbo also but his is a 2005 5.9L so I don't know if that is a good comparison in temps.

I get around 600-800 at highway speeds and around 1100 in regen. These readings are lower then my Superchips Laser Gauge that shot craps...I've checked the resistance and it is within spec. so, I feel these numbers are ore accurate. Our post turbo exhaust systems run much hotter.

Edge install addendum

I got to work on the Edge this morning, took some pictures.

Tools

Size 10 mm wrench
Large Screwdriver
Diagonals
#10 Torx driver (need skinny shaft)
Gorilla Tape
Electrical Tape
Tie wraps both the small ones with edge and some larger ones

I found a dash pod for the edge Part Number 38305

The dashpod is a very nice item, I routed the cable through the end cap which I pried off with the large screwdriver.

I used some Gorilla Tape and a tie wrap to protect the cable where it passes through the metal under the end cap.

The Edge instructions for under the hood are just fine as is. I used the large screwdriver to push in on the latch and lever the back 456 injector connector which made it very easy to get out. My hands just would not fit and provide enough leverage.

I slit the rubber shown and put a loop through for the OBD connector cable. Made it very easy to pull through from the other side.

That timing connector took the longest. I had to find my Torx driver and forgot the shaft was loose in the handle. I used a pliers to turn the shaft.
Connector disconnected and ready for edge cable

And with the edge plugged in

I cut a little channel for the power wire in the fuze box using the diagonals.

Wrapped some of the cables together with electricians tape, and tie wrapped the loom at various spot to keep it away from wear points and restrain it.

I used some industrial strength velcro in place of the small pieces provided by edge.

Now I have a question? I did not install the temp probe yet, where is the best place to drill for the temp probe.

A little tip for the dash pod.

I fitted my to the dash first so it fit tight. Then took a roll of 3M automotive double stick tape. Ran it across the bottom so it was flush with outside. Cleaned the dash and stuck it down. When done it looked like it was built into the dash (my dash is gray and matched the pod). No rattles and you can touch the buttons with any movement of the unit or pod If yours is different color, you can get match paint from Geno's and spray to match then stick down.

Love my 3M auto tape (beats the hell of screws).

Mine came with tabs that stick to three sides. They had some velcro like stuff but the adhesive did not stick to the dash. I used my industrial strength velcro. Fit up nice. Color is grey versus the oddball brownish gray of my dash. If it ever bothers me I will paint it.

That said the edge in setting three is a wheel spinner. Sure don't need to wear out my tires. I notice that when I slow to a stop the idle stays high for a bit and then comes down to 700. Same thing running. Stays at 1000 rpm I now use the gears to regulate my speed down for the neighborhood driving.
