Default Heavy Duty Dodge Axle/Differential Gear Pictures

While I was swapping out the OEM cover for the PML cover I thought I'd take some pics of the 11.5" limited slip AAM (American Axle Manufacturer) rear axle on my 2007.5 Ram 3500. Looks intimidating doesn't it?

When I get the front cover I'll shoot some pics of the front 9.5" too.

.75 quarts more but I could only add .5. I'm going to recheck, I may have been on a slight incline?

Purty huh? My #1 reason for swapping was the OEM cover doesn't have a drain plug and the thought of having to remove the cover at every change didn't thrill me. (The manual says 15,000 miles)

Very nice, on my list of to do's ! Noticed you did not reuse the stock bolts, did it come with replacements ? Are they SS ?

Yup, it comes with everything you need to swap her out and if you want they will even tap the cover for a temp sensor too.

The drain is at the bottom and has a magnet and then there are two other fill/check openings one on the side and one on the top. I have a link down below in my sig PML Diff Cover for more info.

That is nice! Add that to the list behind shocks and an Edge. Christmas is coming isn't it?
