Default Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Drivetrain Fluid Recommendations?

I just went over 9000 miles so it's time to think about changing out both differentials and the transfer case. I'm thinking about going with Mobil 1 Synthetic since I've had great luck with it in the past but since the demands on my 1 ton will be more severe on the drivetrain then the 1/2 tons I've owned in the past I was wondering if any of you vetern Heavy Duty owners knew something I don't and had different recommendations?

Thanks!

That the only thing I use. My last truck was a 2500 Dodge Ram with the 11 inch diff. ... Mobil 1 worked great.

It's a good fluid but not readily found in my neck of the woods kind of like Amsoil. They also have some good products but for me it's just to inconvenient because I usually don't think about changing the fluids until I'm 500 miles over and I need to do it today.

On my Nissan Titan I went down to Walmart and bought a clean new pan and filled it wit fluid. I then took the return line off the Transmission Cooler and attached a clear hose to it and dropped the end in the fluid. I then took the SOURCE line off the cooler attached a hose to it and dropped the end of that in another pan. Then I had the Queen start the truck and when the fluid coming out of the Source line started looking new I had the Queen shut the truck off, secured the lines and topped her off. I've now driven her another 60,000 miles.

I know this may sound funny but this was the procedure that Nissan had in their Service Manual and as long as the fluid going in doesn't get dirty or run dry it's a flush.

If I saw it correctly the Mopar +4 ATF is a synthetic fluid, sort of like the New Mercron .
