Default It's BBQ time (still)

Well, it is spring and BBQ season is upon us. I would like to know what is your favorite meat to cook on the grill or smoker. With Memorial day at the end of the month many think this is the start of the season, for some of us we don't even winterize the cookers. for us so far this year business has been good in the BBQ arena. July 4th weekend we will be competing in Durango again, but may for go it for a few years after. This contest is always held on the 4th of July even if it is during the week, it sort of consumes alot of vacation time to it. We are looking at a contest in Pheonix in December this year for a change in venue. I would like to know what you will be cooking for the holiday weekend.

Love me some Eastern NC BBQ, but when it comes to chicken, nothing can top Brook's Bar-b-que in Oneonta, NY!!!! They bottle and ship their sauces so if anyone wants to try it, I highly recommend it!!

I love to grill!! I like using Jack Daniels Marinade bags. I like the Mesquite marinade, pack 2-4 lbs worth of steak in the bags the night before I throw them on the grill....ON YEAH!!!

Works with Chicken, Pork, burgers, Steak and so on....

I dont like to go to too many BBQ joints, I like doing it myself....

I don't eat BBQ locally, but when I travel that is the first thing I look for. The best reccomendations I have found are usally from the guys I am there to work with or the Hotel manager, they sometimes have cupons or special deals.
