Morbius, if you read my post, I gave info on cleaning the dpf first not just to delete. Alot of people are not aware of all the options that are available for our trucks. However, I will look into other forums, amf.

There are companies out there that do a complete DPF cleaning service using ovens and what nots, CAT has a program that reconditions, tests and recertifies theirs, I think the freightliner dealer up the road from me does as well. This is mainly for the off highway heavy haul stuff or the OTR trucks though. I am sure as these trucks get older there will be aftermarket options for cleaning or replacing them.
