I am really confused about the fuel filter needed for the 2010 6.7's. My dad and I both have the 10's and he picked up new filters and housings for both of us from the local diesel shop but when you look at the truck it doesn't look even close. Genos is showing a new element for the 2010's but I can't tell if that is all we need or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

NAPA carries the new housing and filter for around 70 bucks, then replacement elements are under 20 bucks. they are stamped genuine cummins parts.

Just put mine in the shop. Turbo died at 15k miles. While they were checking, found dirt in the fuel tank, due to the filter tube issue. They are trying to charge me for not changing the fuel filter since it is in the original housing. I used the Wix (made by fleetguard) drop in element. Fit perfectly and the fuel test performed by the dealership proves it is working properly. Is there possibly an upgraded housing they may be using. Dealership says I cant have changed it as the new .5 micron filter wont fit, which obviously it did.

Used the same model filter in mine. Even though they are saying it wont screw on with that filter. Dodge apparently doesn't even know what they are talking about.

Do we know what the micron rating is for the napa 3733. I am concerned as filtering fuel is very important. Hoping that more of you out there can straighten me out.
