Squid,
You bring up an intresting subject for me. Seeing as how expensive diesel is these days I'm very curious to see if anyone is making their own bio diesel with the new 6.7. I've heard of diesel secret. Alot of people say its a scam I wrote them and asked them about the whole, common rail cloging issue and they've informed me that they have several customers with the 6.7 using this stuff with no issues, not sure if they are feeding me full of shit or if the stuff actually works.

bigtruck, you can use up to 5% bio per dodge/cummins. 5% is no big deal in terms of reducing price. 20% is something else. Bio acts as a mild degreaser and can loosen other materials in your system, so clogging can be a issue. Our engines should run much better on bio as it reduces diesel particles by as much as 25%. No particles and no regen = better fuel economy...IMHO

And with an Auxiliary water separator you can go up to a 25% bio diesel cocktail but the problem I'm having is finding one of them.

I believe I read that Dodge has one for use with bio-diesel, but I can't seem to find where I saw it at. You might ask your local dealer about this. Supposed to be good for 20% bio.

I also read somwhere that Cummins is allowing for 20% bio fuel, I thought about running 80 ULSD, and 20% filtered WVO, I'd have to change my fuel filter early for the first tank or two, but after that I think it should be fine, 20% doesn't sound like a lot but if you do the math it is a savings of about 6,000 a year! What do ya'll think?

I drive over 3000 miles a month so every little bit helps just along as my fuel system isn't at risk.
