Default Custom AMSOil bypass Blackstone results

OK guys read it and weep.

After 6000 miles of towing with my custom install AMSOil remote bypass filters, (one factory filter in place and one remote filter and one bypass filter) below are the results. This sampling is better than the one 6000 miles ago with just two AMSOil remotes and running the MP8 on half the trip. Please read comments to me from Blackstone. At this point I will be running the oil for a total of 10,000 miles till next sampling.

Pretty nice. Looks like Amsoil has a nice filter system and is something we should all consider doing. I also see you're also running Mobil 1, is this a Synthetic?`

Ditto on that looks good. I'll bet the reduction in fuel, is the seating of the piston rings...Lower blow-by at the regen cycle...In any case, this mod is on my list....Thanks for the update
BTW, how did you get your sample??

Several things. I had taken my truck to dealer and had turbo cleaned and some new EGR parts replaced.

If you will notice I did not install the remote bypass as suggested. I kept the orginal filter in place and routed the oil line from the top of factory filter housing to run to the bypass. I then ran return line back to the oil filler cap. To take the sample I simply loosen the oil filler cap, start the engine and then lift the cap and dump some oil in a container and replace the cap.

AMSOil website has it listed on their site for customer installs.

The Mobil 1 is synthetic.

With Uncle Sam returning some of my tax money I am going to purchase this system. Does the kit from Amsoil include everything or is there extra that I need to get? Also in reading some other forums about the Amsoil system do you see lower oil pressure after install? I like the idea of the three filters also. What type of place did you go to to get the new line. Sorry for all the questions but inquiring minds want to know. Thanks again the write up on your site and the pics are great!

The remote kit comes with the machined block that screws onto the original oil filter but I did not use that piece. It also comes with the dual filter block and 2 pieces of hose and fittings.
In my installation I did not use the original oil filter block. I mounted the dual filter block under the drivers side on frame. Driver's side of engine is much cooler. I did have to purchase the oil filler cap from an AMSOil dealer. There is a screw plug on the top of the original oil filter mount you will need to mount the supply line for the remote dual filters. Run the return back to the oil filler cap.
I used very good quality fuel line for your lines.
Photos on my website.

thanks for the info. I thought I read somewhere that you were using or going to use metal hydraulic lines. No matter I really like your set up! Now to learn how to weld or find a friend that does. Thanks again.

I did use reinforced hyd. lines but they transferred too much oil pump noise.
