Default got my 5th wheel

Finally got my 5th wheel and I love it.

It is a lx3112 2011 Stealth toy hauler. Because weight is factor and we travel rougly 24,000 a year we decided on this unit with a dry weight of about 8,500lbs. Total lenght is 33 feet. It has great windows so when you are inside everywhere you look is to the outside. Kitchen area and living area is very well designed giving a most open feeling.

This unit has a pin weight 0f 1960 and hardly drops the pickup.

Loaded out we are roughly 11,500.

It tows very well much easier than my bumper pull. Interestingly enough I am getting better mileage pulling this bigger trailer. My old trailer was 21 foot but had the rough aluminum siding. Loaded out this trailer weighed out about 10,000.

I installed a draw tite 18k slider of which we don't really need but it seems to work well and the nice part of it by disconnecting two connectors the whole unit comes out leaving me a nice flat bed.

All of your advice was helpful and now will see how this unit works out over time. We have worked two weekends so far and can't believe how much nicer, roomier and just plain comfortable it is.

Thanks,

Bill
