John the easiest way to see if there are any recalls for your particular truck is to follow this link My Dodge: Official Dodge Owners website - Warranty, Vehicle Specs, Service Contracts, Financing, Dealers and on the left side is a place for you to put in your VIN to pull up any recalls for your truck.

Funny thing, when I bought my truck...I didn't even want the dealer to drive it to puit on the extras etc...LOL...a bit possessive and untrusting |

Any more you sort of feel like a 'Beta' tester. The thought is to sell the truck and worry about the problems AFTER the sale. In my line of work I do see this more as policy then prevention. If the people that are truck savy miss some of these issues, you almost have to wonder how many never take care of the problems when it is under warranty?
I deal with trucks in the $1,000,000 dollar range each and see preventable issues with almost every unit we get, and many are repeat problems that have occured for many years in the same models. When I get a unit I can almost tell the delivery people what will fail when we start it for the first time.

Well, my truck was built before the recall date so I don't get the whole upgrade, but I'm getting a new steering damper to resolve the "death wobble" issue.
Also I was getting intermittent check engine lights and a occasional "stutter" when pressing the accelator, for that I'm getting a new TIPM(Total Intergrated Power Module) I think is what the service manger said. I won't get the truck back until tomorrow as they needed to order parts. |
