Default Ram 3500 Separated Tie Rod Failure

Thursday morning while heading to a work site I had the passenger side Tie Rod separate. The scary part is there wasn't any warning. No thump, no steering wheel shake, nothing. The other scary thing is that earlier this winter I had the front end torn apart to replace the Axle U-Joints and I had checked both the Tie Rods and Ball Joints.

Either Dodge should have included the 07.5 Ram 3500 and 2500 trucks in the following Recall or the Winter solution they are using on the roads here will eventually kill someone because if you'll look at the following pic's you'll see that the boot has deteriorated on the drivers side Tie Rod exposing the ball to the elements.
