AC Recirculation Noise
Hi Guys!
When I turn my AC to recirculate versus fresh air, I get 4x more sound. It sounds as if there is an obstruction in the vents behind the dash. With the fan on hi, it is very loud. RiverRunner

Mine is also and so is my Nissan Titan. My guess is that there's more airflow due to less ducting. Just a guess.

Yup, what he said. With the outside air off, the whole system works more effectively and moves more air. So when you turn the ac on max cooling, the outside air gets turned off and you only have to cool the inside air
