Has anyone had their dash apart? Would like to know if anyone has up-graded their dash speakers? Are there 3 up there (one in the middle)? How difficult it is to replace them (does the entire dash have to come off)? I know they are 3-1/2".
thanks in advance |

The dash does not have to come off to replace those. The upper front part (part against the windshield) is held in place with its own clips and not part of the dash unit itself. You can remove that part and expose all the speakers. Using the interior panel removing tools (special plastic tools as not to scratch and mar up things) will pop that off. Speakers drop in from the top and be careful NOT to drop any of the screws cause you will not get them back and have a ever lasting rattle.
