I am an ATVer that uses ramps to get my RV up into the bed of the pickup. I have looked everywhere I can imagine to try to find how much weight I can put on the tailgate before the tailgate, mounting hardware, and cable go kaboom. Anyway know how to find out before I have to find out the hardway?

. I have the same ATV and have driven it up ramps hooked to gate and hauled with rear axle on tailgate.I damage tailgates by forgetting ![]() ![]() to leave tailgate down when unhooking gooseneck trailer and pulling away from trailer.
