Default fuel rail over pressure

I have a smarty and I keep getting the p000f code which is the overpressure safety activated buggar what can i do to fix this issue? anybody have an idea

What settings are you using on your smarty. Depending on setting, you may need to shim you relief valve on the pressure rail.

my smarty is set to #9 catcher. The past few days i have been able to research this my opinion is to shim the valve opposed to plug. Now who knows where in northern alberta i can p/u a shim kit?

You can make your own for several dollars. The shim kits consist of what you see in this image:



Make sure the washers are the same thickness. The nut is used with a vise to help pop the valve apart. The 3 washers go at the back of the behind the spring.

Default fuel rail over pressure

$50.00 cdn and problem should be gonzo, I picked up a railplug from the local shop. installed in 30mins havin lunch then test drive. i will post the drive results.

so then if ur pressure is to low then u should shim it then?
