Default TPMS delete

Does anyone know if it is possible to delete the TPMS. I would like to remove the sensors from the factory wheels. I am not saying it is not nice/useful for some drivers but for my style and usage it is a inconvenience.
thanks

Yes, they can be removed. You will need dealer assistance to turn off TPMS service in the ECU. I believe if you just disconnect the modules, the light on the dash will stay on and an error code will be presented.

Thanks Morbius,
I guess I need to check with another dealer as I was told it could not be turned off without getting the alarm/light and code on the overhead console.

Sounds like they did not realize they need to actually disable it in the computer. Think they where thinking along the lines of just unplugging the wires .....

Cheers.
