Got a P2509 code
I have neglected the battery cable servicing on the truck for a while and decided to do it a couple of weeks ago, they were pretty bad and the fungus was thick. Pulled everything apart, used the good old baking soda and wire brush trick, they cleaned up pretty well.
Put the batteries back in and tightened everything good and tight, all was well for about 2 weeks then, yesterday no start/no crank, it took 2 hours to boost it. Decided to replace the batteries and try to find out where I went wrong. Found the issue, don't neglect your batteries!!!, the corrosion on the crossover cable and one of the terminals was the main issue. Cleaned everything again, replaced some bolts that broke on the cable clamps and all is well now. As anal as I have been in my career on battery servicing, mine is the one that has the issue (me bad).
