Question Aux horn hookup

I am trying to mount the train horn I had on my 2000 RAM onto my 08 diesel megacab 3500. Does anybody know where the horn wire is? I can't locate the stock horn. I can hear it somewhere in the firewall or fenderwell on the drivers' side. I need to get the horn button wire for this to work. No fuse for the horn on this model for some reason. Thanks.

Thanks. I will have take take out the battery and I think it is mounted on some kind of a platform that will be needed to be removed to.

How'd it go...I'd like to have a train horn too. I don't like the "excuse me" that currently comes out of my horn. Sometimes ( and I know you can all relate) you got to get someones attention.

I hope you got'er done. After replacing my fuel filter, I saw that the horns are under the left wheel-well covers. I hope I did not steer you wrong.

Not yet, once I get home, I want to get some clearance lights on my truck, because I like the way they look. My dad had "aquired a train airhorn set up" in his younger day. So its two horns in one fixture adjustable for tone with an allen wrench. So when I get back from I iraq I may put those bad boys on, however I don't think I'll be mounting them on my roof, I may put them under the hood, just have to find an Air compressor for air, that would be nice anyway to have on board air for whatever you might need it for.
