6.7L Cummins Forum

Hello all. First time poster. I own a 2008 Dodge Ram 5500 C&C with approx. 110,000kms.

Just recently the truck has been throwing a few codes. First was the 2509 (which i believe i caused by playing around with the ground on the left fender) and about a day after the 2509 came on and went back out the 2033 came on along with the 2509 again. I know what both codes mean i'm just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if so what is the fix. Also, just tonight, message centre said DPF is 90% full. So i drove her for over an hour at HWY speeds and the message still exists...i'm thinking the 2033 might have something to do with this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you contact your dealership and have the J35 Recall done. This new flash is suppose to fix the problem with phantom error codes being thrown which I think you have and also addresses the sooting problem. 6.7L Cummins Forum J35 Recall Details
