the best I ever saw on my 07.5 lmm dmax was 14.6 and that was highly moded. My stock cummins I've already seen 18.6 on a 720 mile trip. The dmax towing my 19,200lb trailer got 8.9. my cummins 13.4 . I'm very happy , but plan on tuneing and exhaust moding the new truck to see how good it will get .

I have 3.73 rear, SWB, EGR disconnect, OEM tires, city 13mpg (4.9miles to work one-way I do that 6 times a day), got 14.8 hwy (drove 104.6 miles round trip). Stock Cummins. W/ EGR connect I got 10mpg city. Do any of you know that if I got a tuner about how much more I can get (like 1 to 3 or more mpg)? I try to keep my rpm's @ 2,000 or below at start-up from traffic light. Or will a tuner even help me with that?

2008 2500 quad cab, 4x4, 6 spd auto, k&n filter, DPF delete w/ H&S tuner, EGR unplugged, 315 rubber, don't know my gear ratio. I get a steady 19 on the open highway. Mixed town and hwy gets 17. Towing I get 11.5 to 12.5, doesn't seem to matter what kind of trailer. Towed 8k bumper pull RV, Logs to wood yard (11.5k heaviest load so far and that was pushing it for the trailer I have, Gooseneck 3 horse trailer with living quarters (30 ft, don't know weight), Tandem duel axle gooseneck with 8k lbs excavator.
