the diesel emissions laws are mandated for 2010, so , why is it illegal to modify your 2008 diesel truck, maybe its because you will get better mpgs, and that would make the countrys deficit worse?????

I have been wondering the same thing. I keep hearing something about credits, but that should not have anything to do with the end users...I would think.
However, I think I may have been wrong some time back, but I don't really remember. ![]() |

I think it's only illegal in certain states like California.
