Blew my mind yesterday when I pulled into the our local truck stop and was able to get diesel for 1.99 a gallon
Several stations like Shell and Chevron are at 2.09 .... Diesel once again less than gas ![]() For that did not know or try yet, a semi fill nozzle will fit the 3500 (can not speak for the others) fill neck with no issues. One thing you have to do is since the semi fill nozzle is larger and has an additional retainer ring, tilt the nozzle toward the filler door when inserting and removing (so it clears the vent tube lip) and do not insert it as far as you do your normal station nozzle. Also DO NOT fill at speed ! They are high speed fill and designed to pump a 100 gallons in nothing flat. Half speed is already 2x faster than your local station. I can fill our 35 gallon tank in a snap at the truck stop ! |

Diesel is now cheaper (Finally) then regular here in the Midwest. $1.79 for regular and $1.76 for diesel.
(By the way were you not allowed to edit your post?)

$1.94 here in Georgia... I say away from the big rig pumps because I believe that they use a lower cetane...I get better fuel economy and less regens using fuel from stations that cater to passenger car diesel engines. Installed the 56 gallon tank to get where I'm going without having to refuel somewhere that I'd rather not and not all stations are 5th wheel friendly.
I hope we see these prices for a long time ![]()

The truck stops I hit in our area has fuel from the local refinery .... which in California, its all the same (the one size plan fits all state ....
). I am planning to install a 56 gallon tank also, been thinking about doing a 45 in the bed that fits under the cover when rolled out. Gas prices here have not dropped much compared to diesel. |

ULS diesel, here is 69.9 cents per litre, gasoline is 80.9. Truck stops are still selling LSD.
