Default A/t tire advice

Hey guys, anyone out there have any advice on a all terrain tire that looks pretty aggresive, but are able to stay on the road for at least 40-50 k miles.
I have looked all around and i just can't seem to make a descision. I like the toyo open country at's, but the goodyear wrangler duratracs arent bad either, heck even the firestone at's arent to bad. I drive bout 80 miles a day on the open highway, but on the weekends I do go to the deer lease quite often. It doesnt get to bad, but when i rains pretty good, It can get nasty. I have bf goodrich rugged terrain stock rite now, but I am going to be putting on a 2.5 inch leveling kit and want to upsize to a 315-70-17.
Any advice is better then none.

I tried the hankook and they were great for the first 30,000 miles but then they became loud, vibrated and the outside started wearing funny on the front tires so I'm going back to the OEM General tires that came with the truck. I got 60,000 miles out of them and live in the country.

I have about 15,000 KMs on a set of Goodyear Silent Armor Pro Grades. They are 285/70/17 D rated tires on the stock wheels. The ride is much better and I like them when towing. Time will tell how they wear.

BF Goodrich allterain are a good working tire on and off road and they look good to. My truck came with the rugged trails also. They are a littel less aggrsive th en the allterrains.

Do not go with the BFG A/T's if you're looking for a 40K mile tire. The compund is very soft and you will have a hard time getting 30K out of them. I had a set a few years ago and I went through half the tread in 10K. I was hot rodding or spinning tires either. I had Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires recently and they held up very well. I sold the truck for my current one but after 10K they still looked new and had a pretty good tread to them also.
