Default Regen

Ok. I may be the only one that doesn't know this, but what, exactly, should I expect when my 6.7 goes through a "regen?" I don't think I've had one yet! I do mostly highway driving (about 20 miles per day @ 65-70 MPH) with another 10 miles of through the neighborhood driving. What are the symptoms?

Iambroke1;
If everything works properly and the system is intact and well maintained your experience of 'Regen' should be ....... well, unnoticed. If you have a Pyrometer you will see elevated EGT's for a period of time. If you have a monitor of some sort, some will notify you if regen is occuring or you can force a regen, some, I think you can stop it for happening. My experience is if the EGT's are in the 900 to 1100 degreee range while driving the system should take care of itself due to the temps required to clean the DPF, I feel mine go into a passive or partial regen (maybe, someone pipe in if this is incorrect terminoligy) the throttle response is a little better and snappier, out side of that I haven't noticed mine do it in 75,000 miles.
