I'm new to the forum and have a question about deleting the EGR valve. I was told by my Dodge dealer (after having to replace my bad EGR valve) that if I blocked the crossover tube and disconnected the EGR valve the truck would not be able to regen. Is this correct or a dealers scare tactic? I have and 08 6.7 2500 4x4 and am tired of all the polution crap. Any recommendations on things to do first on a limited budget would be helpful.

Buffalo Hunter - I know that is ultimately the best way to get it done but can I do the egr delete to start with? Would that create problems with the regen while I'm waiting on the DPF delete and Smarty?
