6.7L Cummins Forum

I'm happy to be a member of the Cummins Ownerz group! This group is a tremedous resource for those of us who work on our trucks, yet do not have the day to day know-how (or confidence) to tear our engines apart -- even though we'd love to.

Question: Is anyone aware of 6.7L updates/flashes or recalls in the last year?

My check engine light just came on however the truck seems to be running fine... Although for quite a while I been hearing a strange noise which sounds like my engine is running an extra devce (kind of a lagging sound) and when I turn the engine off, it almost sounds like the device is spinning to a stop. I've been told that ths is part of my throttle system although it sounds really strange.

Anyway, can anyone lend me assistance?
