What's up guys? Well today I took the plunge and bought a 2011 RAM 2500 diesel quad cab short bed, and quite frankly its awesome. I just wanted to hear anyone's input on the do's and dont's of owning and maintaining this motor.

Watch your amount of time you let it idle, these filtered diesels HATE idling, and city driving. I was suggested to run a bottle of upper cylinder lube type additive (once every two to three tanks) by a long time diesel mechanic and driver to help prolong the life due to the lack of lubricant in the ULSD. Enjoy your truck, welcome to the site!
