Default more trips

Have made numerous trips with my toy hauler across sierra. With my trailer full towing a little over 9,000lbs, I have to cross over Hwy 50 from Smith Nevada to Roseville, Ca. The highest pass is close to 8,000 feet. Now with just over 8,000 miles driving from Smith to Roseville and Back I am averaging on my most recent trip 11.1 miles to the gallon. That is a nice improvement from the earlier 10.5.

Still no problems with the exception of an occassional pull to the right on heavy braking will addres this with the dealer.

The truck works great.

I changed oil at 6,000 miles ( no sensor Lite) and now will change fuel filter at roughly 8,500 miles.

Can any one reccomend the best replacement cartridge?

I order mine from geno's garage Filters - Fuel-Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage they also offer nifty filter packages with both fuel and oil filters.

The Fleetguard Filter and Shell is cheaper then the Mopar but the filter cartrides are both the same price at $36.95 so take your pick.

FLEETGUARD FS43257 FUEL FILTER & SHELL ('07.5-'09)$49.95

MOPAR MOP68061633 FUEL FILTER & SHELL ('07-'09, 6.7L) DODGE$64.95

Can you use a Fleetguard filter with a Mopar shell?

DC must have thought there was a problem if they issued a TSB for a better (smaller micron rating) filter. I see some are using the GDP secondary filter with good results.
