Exclamation Diesel Convert

I've been wanting a diesel for awhile. This summer, my half ton died after 21 years of faithful service.
Turned out to be a good news story 'cause I love the power of my Cummins!
I bought an '08 'cause I could not find a low mileage 5.9 and I didn't want to pay new prices. The 6.7 6 speed auto work together in amazing ways.
The bike furom I visit gave me the mod bug, so...
I've already ordered parts!
Running boards, grill inserts, brush on bed liner, S&B intake, Flo Pro Turbo back 5" exhaust, Smarty 67 JR...
Where will it stop...
Amsoil dual remote by-pass filter, secondfuel filter(2 micron)...
K, I need to stop now...
Firestone R4Tech suspension...

Been looking at the Firestone R4Tech suspension... Very cool. Latest diesel mag has a review on it. Cost is a bit hard to chew on ....

Break it down:
Air springs - $260
Shocks - $200
Compressor - $260
Air tank, level sensor and connections...
I think they are asking about twice what it's worth but the shocks are load sensitive (reference air line), the package is engineered to to as a system, so...
I don't think I'll bite, think I'll go for air bags(on top of the stock leaves minus the load spring) and some good shocks.

I've got this list complete, plus a frame and wiring for my snow plow.
My old Chev half ton could move an amazing amount of snow if needed. Should be interesting to see what a heavier truck with Cummins power can do...Probably break something?

You removing the egr cooler? Going to use the plates or just the blocker disks? I have H&S black maxx on my truck and I just have the dpf/cat removed. Everything else unplugged.

Glad you like the new truck, the engine makes pretty decent power in stock form, but once the power bugs set it, the truck will even get better.
