Default another new guy

Hi everybody,
I just joined today and wanted to say hello. this is my first diesel truck. i Just bought it today, it's a 2007 dodge 2500 with the 6.7 and auto trans. i hope to have a great experience with it. is there any things i should be a where of? also does late model GM 8 lug wheels fit the late model dodge? i hope so because i'd like to use my Centerline wheels on it in the summer.

welcome to the site, wish you the best with the new truck. don't know about the lug pattern for sure on the new ones ,but I think the ford and dodge are the same and gm different??? I think they are making a mistake changing everything as they do.... 8 lug should stay the same for all imo. but that would make too much scense.

Vorstang;
Welcome to the forum.
Rims? Not too sure, but it seems they change the pattern every time we turn around.
I agree with Steve that they should at least give the aftermarket time to catch up and keep 8 luggers the same. Congrats on the truck, I have almost 40K on mine so far and no issues to speak of. The left rear door lock works when it wants to though.
I drive mine hard when I tow but always put it away clean and dry, service it on a regular schedule, listen to the experience posted here on this forum (as opposed to other non-6.7 forums) It seems that previous 5.9 owners don't like the 6.7 and try to drive them the same and expect more out of them than they can deliver, like fuel mileage. Mine gets 15 to 18 in town, 9 to 14 when towing 11K, and empty on the highway up to 23. I am not complaining at all, compaired to the V10 gasser I am in hog heaven. Good luck and drive it hard to exercise the turbo and clean the pipes.
