Question 6.7 reprogram of ECM

Anybody experienced the result of the recall?
Had my 07 done, seems to regenerate on a regular basis.

Yup, got it done last Friday. I have put on about 1,000 KMs since. The transmission shifts better with smoother down shifts in Tow/Haul, there is about 2 to 5 LBs more boost throughout the power band, more mid range throttle response, smoother engine brake operation and smoother idle. There seems to be a slight mileage increase as well but I haven't calculated as yet. This is all with the EGR still plugged in. I was running it unplugged for about 70,000 KMs but plugged it in for the reflash.

After initial problems when truck was new, ECM flashed and had 35,000 trouble free miles and yesterday the light came on and I went to dealer for repair and recall and they said the Catalytic converter was bad also. Warranty covers everything. Would that coverter being bad affect performance and mileage?

I had my J35 performed yesterday. I swear there was a little more umpf but it is probably a subjective situation. I did traveling from Carson City to my home in Smith Valley Nevada record 21.7 on my overhead. Relatively speaking it looked like better mileage.
