Default 3X Cummins Owner

Three days ago I purchased a new 2010 6.7L, 2500 Laramie crew cab. This truck is the third Cummins I've owned with the first one being a 1995 5.9L 12 valve and the second one being a 1998 24 valve. I'm always looking for information to assist me in maintaining and servicing my truck and it looks like this is just the site I'm looking for. From what I've read on the forum thus far, it looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do with the 6.7L.

Default Work it....

I have an 09 Laramie, mega, 1 ton, dually. 6.7. All I can say is this is not a daily city driver. It was designed to work and if you don't you will plug up the exhaust and that is expensive and not covered under warranty. I have full guages so I can monitor when the pyro shows it is in regen. Without the pyro guage you will not know when it is in regen other than smelling the heat and crackling of the exhaust be hot. Work it and don't shut it off when in regen.
