P2262-turbocharger Boost Pressure Not Detected - Mechanical

Hi
I keep getting the above alarm/fault,Does anyone know what it is and how to rectifier it,I own a 3500 diesel Laramie 2008

need help to fix the fault

Do a few wide open throttles from time to time....You need to search this site on how to drive your truck

Howdy jaws, anyone with a 6.7L that doesn't tow every day has probably seen this code. As Vis wrote you have to get out on a highway on ramp every now and then and really get on her to create boost in order to clean the Turbo. Driving around town doesn't create boost thus not moving the sliding vane, thus not desooting the Turbo. Here's a couple of threads that will explain how the Turbo works and why it's important to create boost to keep that old P2262 away, Cummins 6.7L VGT Exhaust Brake Operation

I would like to thank all for giving me good advise,I hope to learn more about my truck

I just got a Edge system hooked up to the truck,Found it to be very helpful in locating and clearing the codes
