Has anyone ever heard of rotating the batteries to avoid one battery going bad . My mothers friend told me he did that for years and never had a bad battery in his 95. Looking at how things are wired, I don't think that's necessary. Any thoughts?

It does make logical sense. The charge/draw are both taken from 1 battery and possibly resistence in the cable could charge the Pass. side battery at a lower rate. I do not rotate my camper batteries and get they recommeneded life out of them and they are wired the same way. I guess it would be worth a try.

Well i did all the checks and everything checked out so i went back to the batterys again.batterys passed load test but i decided to check the voltage after setting over night and the temp in the 30's.I found that at tis time the driver side battery was showing only 10 volts while the right side was 12.45. if checked any time in the day after running they both showed 12.45.removed the left battery and took back to advance and explained what was happing and tey warr the batt. reinstalled and have cleared all codes.Have had 2 mornings with the temp in the 20's and the engine has started both times and no codes.Never had a battery pass a load test and not be good but it can happen. Thanks everyone for your input.
