HEY, congratulation! I have not had one yet, knock on wood.
Maybe yours was just a temporary hiccup. Good luck with it.

Its kind of silly to be happy about stuff like this but, I kind of feel left out sometimes.
No repeat codes, no driveablility problem, 3 Ign. cycles and the lamp went out and so far has stayed out.?

Us 6.7L owners sure are a sick bunch. LOL

I've been driving around for ohhhhhhhhhh..........about 10.000 miles with a check engine light because I just haven't had time to take her in for the latest flash to solve the O2 sensor codes it's throwing.

Got another confusing one. This morning on my way to work the CEL came on, no change in anything really, no additional lights on. After arriving at work I tried to pull codes, this is wierd, it displayed --------- then --doNE-- the only other thing that was unusual (or I have never noticed it before) was the ETC lamp (the red lightning bolt in the venturi) was on with the CEL when trying to pull codes.??? go figure

Sounds kind of what mine started doing. My theory is the paremeters in the ECU is too close so as sensors get some age and the tolerances change/widen the ECU starts throwing false/phantom codes all over the place like with my 02 sensor circuit thus the need for a new flash.

I had not thought of that. It won't stay on long enough to take it in to the dealer to find out though. Next week It will turn 38,000 miles. Hey good news, I got part of the order from Geno's, but with an annual board meeting on Saturday I my not have much time to install some of the stuff. I did put on the locking fuel door, pretty cool too!
I have the horn brackets made and the hand valve location picked out and a mount manufatured for it. Now comes the tuff part, plumbing it. The compressor is still on the floor at the house.

I got a couple more!!! P2580 and P2579 Turbo speed sensor circuit perf/low.
Sort of a bizzare situation but probably no connection.
We were tooling North on I-25 when we got cut off by an aggressive driver trying to get in front of every one, I layed on the horns (The wife laughed alot) when the aggressive driver slammed on his brakes and the car next to us on the exit ramp about crashed looking for the locomotive. About 100 yards ahead on the shoulder was a Statey that was looking for the same thing, needless to say we did not see the train and we were pretending to look for it also. I'll bet the pucker factor for the dozen or so cars around us was pretty high. Any way back to the CEL, as soon as this guy swerved in front of me, I backed out of the throttle and tapped the brakes, then the light came on?? Sort of wierd. I expect the light to be out when I go home this afternoon though.

Up date on the goofy CEL. It is still lit. Same codes. I finally broke down and went to see the dealer, After some conversation with the Tech and service advisor I have an appointment for next week. we talked about new flashes and removing the 'change oil' warning indicator, they tell me it cannot be removed form the base function? But you can turn off the seat belt dinger. The Net zero idle feature is included in new flashware, they also will check for the latest flash or update when it comes in. The codes are also tied into the intake air temp circuit. More to come as things get figured out.
