I have 2008 6.7 Cummings 38,000miles. I have been having issues with the turbo getting carbon-ed up. The dealer decided to replace the turbo which they said was a real bitch. Truck seemed fine after that. We put about 300 miles on ore so now today I heard a clunk from under the hood so I shut off engine and inspected. Seems the fan and clutch assemble has loosened and slide off its resting attachment to shaft thus cutting the fan clutch wire also breaking fan. Does anyone know if dealer would have dismantled any of the fan and clutch areas to replace the turbo. I am not mechanic so bear with me. Any help would be appreciated.
