I purchased a 2007.5 at the end of Oct. It is in FL with my wife. It threw Code P0128-Thermostat Reliability. It stayed on for a couple of days then went off, then returned.
I will be bringing it back to VA over the Thanksgiving Holiday with a load of horses. Any idea if this is a show stopper? Should I replace the thermostat prior to making the drive with a loaded horse trailer? Or will I be alright on the drive? Thank you. Last edited by RedCJ8; 11-16-2011 at 11:07 PM.. It needs a new thermostat. I had the code and if anything I was running cold when it happened. The computer knows how fast an engine should warm up under given conditions and if it doesn't it throws the code. I imagine it would do it also if it sensed the engine ran to hot for the load its running, speed, outside temp etc. A new thermo will solve it. I drove mine for awhile thinking it was a temporary issue but it would reappear again and again.
