2011 6.7 high rpm at startup
Truck was at 900 rpm on startup this morning. When I hit brake pedal it would back down to idle rpm then slowly rise back up. When putting truck in reverse it wanted to lurch forward . I was wondering if the truck was regenerating the particulate tank? I could hear some pinging noise and could tell it was alot hotter underneath truck by part tank.
