Default 2010 & 2011 year models

do the 2010 & 2011 year models have the same problems with the turbo sooting up? If not, what changes were made to make them better? different turbo design? software?

We had a recall earlier this year that has helped even the 07.5 trucks but the simple fact is that if you poke around town and sit ideling for long periods of time you're going to have problems even with the newer trucks.

But yes, they are not as bad as it was in the beginning.

Depends on the package you get. I believe it's the cold weather package.

All trucks can have the block heater added after you get it home.

Yeah it's on the passenger side. I'll shoot a pic when I get up.

My plug is on the passenger side inside bumper almost inline with the tow hook.

Have had my 09 for two years and was looking at buying a cord for the block heater. Yesterday did a complete search and to my surprise found the cord. Wow what's wrong with me!! Cord was located behind front passenger side headlight. Whoppee I can plug her in now.
