Default Does any one know?

Here is a dumb one:
In my infinite wisdom and backing experience (not any more though), I killed a trash can this weekend. Just flat out backed over it. The unfortunate part was it was imbedded in concrete. Needless to say I killed it and the rear bumper of the truck is bent (no other damage out side of pride, it has been mortaly wounded). Just wondering if the rear bumper from the 96 will fit the 07.5?
I kind of would like to do it because it is a 10" drop type with lights (and not bent), I don't know the brand it is, but it is about 9 or 10 years old and in great shape.

Thanks alot!!!! It was bad enough as it was, but now.....
What do they say "Poop happens" After all it is a truck, and with 2 years on it and a few miles it can show some damage.?? right?? It still feels bad though.
Yea I measured it and there is not only a frame design but a mounting difference. Well it looks like I'll try to find a lift gate instead

With a few kind words, pry bar, wooden blocks and a good hammer, those rear bumpers can be re-shaped somewhat to remove some of the embarrassment. Experience.

I've been lucky, so far I've only taken out a couple of low voltage lights while backing down the drive one rainy night and a small shrub the queen still wonders why it died..............................

You guys are lucky. When my truck was 4 days old I backed into a boat trailer coupler with my right rear fender. Punched a hole right through it. Only cost $981 to replace it with a new one. I am now very aware of the big hips on this "female" truck.

I ended up putting a back up camera in to keep from killing those things that sneak over behind me. Makes it easier to hook up a ball mount trailer and backing into a parking spot where I can see exactly how far I am from another car or concrete wall or one of those sneaky trash cans...

Due to a stupid neighbor, I took out part of our iron fence with the truck. Fixed the fence by hitting it again . However the bumper took some work. Found it came off real easy and spent the evening with body tools and wood blocks to hammer it all out. I was very surprised how soft the metal was and look good as new when done. Polished it all out and now no can tell

Damn steel I used on the fence was tougher than I excepted ! Bent the bumper but good Never heard the end of it from the queen ......
