Default Warm up

Now that Colorado has had its first cold snap I would like to hear your thoughts on warming this beast up. I plug it in at night and after starting it let it sit for about 5 minutes before moving. I use the exhaust brake to speed the warm up. I read somewhere that there is a problem having the exhaust brake on plus high idle though I can't see what it would be. Thanks for your thoughts.

I do not believe it would be a problem, because the factory programming does that as well (Power Jokes do it too). It loads the engine slightly to speed up the warm up, I do notice the EGTs come up quickly when the EB is on wen it is cold out side. Hope this helps some.

Here in Frisco it doesn't get as cold as where you all live. But when it does get around 20 degrees in the morning I use the jake with my speed control and crank it up to just over 1,000 rpm's (that is the highest it will go). Seems to warm up pretty good.
