Default Replacement 56 Gal Fuel Tank

I have just ordered a 56 Gal. fuel tank fron Transfer Flow. It will be installed by a local shop here in Gainesville. I'll attach pic's of the unit and install later. If anyone has had any experience with the midship under bed designs please speak up.

I don't know anything about this but I sure would like more info on this tank. I get so tired of having to fill up every 3 or 4 days.

Fits in there like a glove...Lowest point about 1/2 inch below frame.
Seems to be a little harder to fill completely, more foam to contend with at fill up. I'll let you now later how it performs relative to the fuel gauge.
See attachments...more to come when I get it up on a lift.

Looks good, what was the labor for something like that?

They charged me a flat rate of $200.00...According to TransferFlow, the install time is 4 hours. I've got 50 miles on the new tankful of fuel and still on full. Based on my calculations, I believe that it will stay on full for 130 miles. What I wanted was to be able to pull my fiver for 350 miles without refueling and without worry of finding the right station and this fits the bill

So far, it is doing actually what TransferFlow said it would. The gauge reads full until 10 gals of fuel is used and then reads normally through the next 36 gallons. At empty, it has 10 gallons left in the tank

I had installed one in an '04, it took me about 4 hours with hand tools. Great fit and a very complete kit, the over all quality of it was fantastic. My friend said his fuel gauge readings were the same as yours and he could go to and from Alb to Alpine, AZ on 1 fillup. Before he would have to fill up on his way back to Alb. (1 way about 230 miles) I pulled his 5'er from there this last fall (39' NewMar) and had 4 gallons in the tank when I got home, Out empty and back pulling the trailer. It's mostly 45 -55 on back roads to get there. So far I'm impressed with my truck. I haven't had the need to install an AUX tank, but if I did a Transfer flow midship would be my choice.
